You seem to be fluent enough in Chinese to be surfing the message boards so I was wondering if you could help me find some car shops in Taiwan that sell car items (websites, addresses, phone numbers, etc). I will be going back to Taiwan soon, and was looking for some car shops to find some things that are too expensive here in the states. Any help is appriciated.

Please remember that many companies make elipsoidal systems and that does not mean they are all equal.
Asia also make some really rubbish headlights as well as discharge components. I helped design a headlamp system as an after market replecement for a Toyota in Taiwan while on consultancy. The design component, manufacturing and assembly costs came to just over $13.00. This was too expensive and they down graded the lens quality polycarbonate to hit a price point along with other changes. This resulted in 23% less performance but they didnt care its all about MONEY !!!!
I can buy D2 discharge lamps in Asia for $14.00 !! and I can buy elipsoidal 90mm units for $30. Will I but them and sell them?, what do your think.

No doubt that quality varies alot on lighting components made in Asia. I am posetively surprised to see that more people realize that OEM HID optics is a better route than using HID kits, even in Asia. And the pics on this Taiwan site MAY contain exactly that. I am sure they have some wrecked/stolen bimmers over there too that parts can be picked from. (I am saying stolen here, because its a fact in todays world.) The last few years, any search for "hid" (or "Xenon") on asian sites would give you a whole wack of HID kits and no matches of any optics for HID.
I was born in Taiwan and lived there til I was 14, so I can tell you guys that he didn't really said much in the posting. Mainly how he got the projectors from an Audi forum in the US and how he fabricated the housing using the same methods that most of us use (baking, sealing...). He really knew what his was doing and understood the importance of using OEM optics with HID bulbs. I could tell that he was trying to inluence/educate the people on the forum with his ideas. I think those are E-code for sure, gorgeous cut-off lines and output.
That's my car. I haven't been here for a long time. Just came back today, and I was suprised to see my retrofit in the discussion.
Yes, I try to educate poeple about OEM HID projector retrofits.
That was my 2nd attemp on OEM HID retrofit. This was my 1st attemp.(Under Dangerzone) I used DOT S4 projectors but didn't like them. So I did another one with Ecode S4's.

I read your information on the Taiwanese page as well... Have some quick question la
I have an S15 with halogen projectors, but very hard to decide if 6000K is too much purple on my car - don't want cops to pull me over, also don't like too much colour (along with side effect of less brightness, 2400lumens compared to 3200 lumens.)
I cannot do my project like yours, but you mentioned on the Taiwanese page - you had installed Bolt On HID Kit ....
Was that 4100K Philips and was it very yellow? Did you also try Ultinon 6000K before going to the e-code S4 projectors?
