Hey guys i have bought a set of H1 jaguar x series projectors from VXCL

the question is i have a CL but i want to do halos, and i have found a site where you can make your own halos, if anyone wants i can post it later, but i was wondering on what trim i should use for it or how i should go along putting the trim in

also what way should i install the projectors i can install from the inside or install from the rear?

now what do i need for a 9006 conversion to the H1? i heard i should go to www.suvlights.com to buy the conversion for like 5 bucks

Before you start, u might want to consider an HID projector unit. It seems like a lot of work without any functional upgrade. Yes, u do get some halos (we call them angel eyes here), but that is just a cosmetical upgrade.

Be prepared to remove front plastic lens in headlight. To avoid unwanted reflections after projector unit comes in, parts or all of low beam reflector needs a coat of matt black. Have a look here:

Electrically, its aeasy to get H1 to lit up from 9006. suvlights.com has loose male and female connectors, and since its 1:1, its an easy task.

joe, as far as wiring u have to get 2 male 9006 connectors. $10 at suvlights plus shipping. so figure $15-20. then u got to solder the connections and ur set. i already gave u the h1 connectors.

herman those jag h1s are far superior to the honda oem setup, so its functional. not to mention it looks 1000x better. anyways for $40 its nice upgrade and in the future a h1 kit will will make it nicer. not true xenon, but 10000000x better than 9006 kit. he doesnt want drop on 300-400 on a xenon projector setup right now.

that projector looks like a copy of the audi a6. very similar. he could even mount an a6 in the future with the same mounts he uses for the jag h1. they are that similar.

joe i may have a set of oem bmw halo so why bother with making them. im sure my price will be worth more than your time. not to mention they will be perfect.
