how to bend projector lenses...

...i was just curious on how to do this. i would like my projectors to have a little more color/flicker in them. does anyone know how to do this? or does this need to be professionally done?

You cold move the lens, but its easier to bend the projector shield. Its more frigile if u have Bi-Xenon, but the same increasing blue color band effect will happen.

Bend the shield so that it's closer to the bulb - no more than 2mm or so...

just verified what happens if the shield is bend more than 2mm. i've bend a spare shield for my h9 Hella 90 to 3mm, mounted it and test.

result
where the lower horizontal cutoff line kinks upward, there was alot of light leaked right in that area above cutoff. the leakage was surrounded by an inner circle of blue purple and outer circle being orange red. i would presume this would cause quite the glare issue.
