HI guys,
Having problem with girlfriend's bulbs. Took off her stock 9004 and put in some 9004 Hella Xenon White Bulbs, the ones on puma-acces.com. I used it on m past car a geoprizm 1990 and it was nice, brighter and whiter. The bulb is tinit with a tiny light blue, so its not like the 'blue bulbs'. I know, I know blue bulbs sucks, but these were different and they actually were better. Anyways I put them into my g/f's car and the pattern was WHACKED. Instead of the standard pattern /////, it was circular (()). It was very weird. So after puting it for a few months, I got some G/e 9004 bulbs from Walmart($11). I notice that the 9004 and 9007 blbs were the same except or the filaments, 9004 = horizontal and 9007 were vertical. So my question is, can a 9007 bulb fit into a 9004 housing and still give the same pattern? Just curious, thats all. thanks guys/gals

Well, If the filament is in a different pattern (horizontal instead of vertical) then the pattern will be affected. How much? I dont know, but it will effect it.

The 9004 and 9007 are keyed differently, as well as wired differently. Putting an axial-filament bulb where a transverse-filament bulb was designed to go (or v.v.) will almost always produce a damaged beam pattern.
