Since bigger is better, I want to buy the 120mm.

Unfortunately for me, the faq has no examples of anyone that has used this projector, probably because it is too big for most headlight installs.

How hard will it be to modify the H1 seat to fit D2s bulbs securely and in focus?

Is there an OEM d2s projector larger than 90mm that i could use instead?

I remember reading somewhere that the bigger projectors are brighter or have better beam quality. My housings are pretty big, but it's still not going to be an easy install. 90mm will be a little easier, but if i can fit larger ones in, i am going to try.

I would really like to see somebody that has put d2s bulbs in the 120mm so i can see how difficult the modifications to the bulb seat will be and also take a look at the beam pattern.

I can pretty much say that is false. Many people here will agree that going larger isn't always better. Do you need a sealed projector unit (Hella 90mm)?
Why not go with E-Code D2S Hella/Bosch/or Valeo projectors. These are all smaller, easier to work with, and guaranteed to satisfy your craving for brightness/beam pattern and color.

Well you talked me into it. I guess im going to go for the largest OEM one i can find... it will be much easier. If i cant find the Q45 projectors, I will go with bmw 5/7/x5 which is probably second biggest.

larger = more light images collected = better performance
it is simple physics.
