Cut the connector of the ballast (Hella)

Hi I got problems with one of my phillips ballast, I have an H7 kit, so I have connectors between the ballast and the bulbs. I found a site that sells me 1 hella ballast but the connector is the D2S connector, so my question is could you cut the connector and rewire the ballast to the bulb and solder and cover, or you can not do it due to internal structure of the high voltage wire.

My bulbs are rebased H7 phillips bulbs (5000k)

Thanks for the help

Yes, that can be done!

See "The high voltage wire on LVQ-212 is damaged - now what?" on http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com/hl-hid-ballasts.htm
