PY21W Philips Silvervision signal bulbs do they fit 7507 7506 1156 1157?



Let say the cars stock ones use those above sizes for signal bulbs, they look pretty much the same would it work?

The 7507 has the same functionality as the PY21W SiverVision, so that shouldn't be a problem. The 7507 is a category PY21W source.

The others have different bases, intentionally designed to prevent incorrect installation, so they won't fit. There are other differences like color (amber v. clear, filament orientation) which would not make them good candidates for a direct swap.

i seen some that looks similar but the bottom has 2 contacts..so that wouldnt replace those ones correct?

ah...i really want to replace them with silvervisions!!

oh yea i did a search and found 1157

looks like this with 1 contact on bottom



and another came up like this with 2 contacts


uh..how come they both 1157?

1157 is a dual filament bulb with 2 contacts on the bottom.
1156 is a single filament bulb with 1 contact on the bottom.

so i guess 1156 would work and 1157 wont then...hm
