I bought a Grote variable load flasher (direct fit listing for my Ford Taurus) that I was led to believe would work fine with my LED tailights. When I put the hazard lights on, they flash normally. However, when I put the individual turnsignals on, the bulb out indicator lights up and they flash rapidly. Now, I know about how the LED's create less resistance than the incadescent lights which leads to these problems. However, I was puzzled by the fact that they work fine with the hazards.
I think the solution is to get another flasher and adapt it to fit my Taurus. I just wish the flasher was easy to acces on this car (buried up inside of the dashboard-I think I'll have to make an extended harness for it)
Thanks in advance-just looking for feedback. For what it's worth, I am using 4 individual 4" high count Grote LED lamps in place of the stock 1157's and wiring them exactly the same way the 1157's were.
