i have the following ballast and need to know the connections for each pin does anyone know??? here are a few pics

someone said you may need controllers also does anyone know what the controllers do???

Your picture shows a previous generation Bosch ignitor. You also need a ballast to control ignitor and to supply bulb with maintenance power:
