2004 Kia Amanti. I thought BMW would be first! I saw it today downtown Toronto, and they really have the "slap on/slap off" typical intense LED illumination:

Way to go Kia.

That's pretty awesome that they're on the bandwagon; they obviously know they need something first and on the new edge to stay in the game.

I don't like Kia myself, but I appluad their LED efforts. Now, just make HID standard equipment.....

I believe Amanti has reflector sytle HID as standard and not bi-xenon options. In fact no options available, just dealer accersorries.

Kia might be the first OEM car with LED signal in North America, but I've seen 2000 Hyundai Equus with LED signals in Korea.

I read your post and after doing so I saw a BMW 545 at the stoplight near here. The do have LED signals up front albeit tiny and hard to notice...there is 4 LEDs in a line. Dang...maybe they're just parking lamps. Didn't think of that when I was lookin at the car.
