It will not damage it. HID is emits brighter light, but does not give more heat as it is only 35 watts. It runs cooler than your typical halogen bulb. This answers your other thread too.

If project is done the right way (most pit falls are decribed on faq), any headlight can be modified to safely be equipped with an HID bulb. However, very few headlights desgined for halogen bulb will project a good beam. See http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com/retro-vs-oem.htm

First of all, Mazda offers HID as an option: 1XT Xenon & TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) package. If you wanted HID you should have paid the $$$ for this option.

Second, your question regarding damage to the headlights from HID bulbs has already been answered. HID bulbs will NOT damage your OEM projector headlights if you take the time to research & install properly.

Third, just because a HID bulb is properly installed without any damage to the OEM projector headlights doesn't mean the end result is going to be acceptable. What Herman was trying to explain to you is that a halogen projector, whether it be OEM or after-market, was never designed to fully utilize the high output of a HID bulb. You may end up with headlights that have blinding amounts of glare, hotspots, excessive foreground lighting, etc.

Conclusion, because you are fortunate to have OEM xenon headlights available for your vehicle, this is the route to go. It will save you time and you never have to worry about legalities.

Thanks for your answer, well Mazda 3 do not have HID as an option or else I would of had it already without any thinking, only Mazda 6 have HID as option, I live in Vancouver Canada by the way maybe its different than USA..... for example 2005 Corolla in USA have Traction Control which is VSC but in Canada 2005 Corolla dont.... also in USA there are VW R32 but in Canada still call GTI...
Also the reason I ask can I install HID in to projector is because 2 days ago I was going to buy a Corolla Projector headlight for my Corolla which I already have a hid kit installed. So I told the Ebay seller if that is ok and they said their projector are not compatible with HID and they do not recommand to have HID in this projector but he did not tell me why...... so I was clueless. Here is the projector I want to buy from Ebay please go take a look for me and let me know why thanks a lot. Other than this you had already answer most of my questions thx : )

best option would be to purchase the WHOLE HID unit from US and install them. that'll give you the LEAST amount of work and excellent lighting. (plus it'll be stock)
it just got rainy here so you might luck out and find a few on ebay soon.
