problem - Hi beam comes on?

I recently bought a 9006 kit from hid-online, everything is fine except only 1 thing; while I`m turning off my hid low beams I can see only on the instumental cluster that Hi beam comes on for milseconds.I talked to Jenny from hid-oline about that, they sent me a new relays, but it didnt help. All connections are secured and no leaks, but I just cant really catch whats goin on with that?

Another point: my car is ground switched, so when I tried to connect the negative wire from a kit to the body on a car, the hid kit doesnt work.It works properly only if I connect kit wires only to the battery.is it normal?

Thanx for input.

Wiring the ground to the battery to make it work is normal if you have ground-switched headlight wiring. What you NEED is a harness that's setup for ground-switched headlight wiring, as in a Toyota aux harness. Once you have the correct harness, the lights will work grounding the harness to frame, and your OTHER problem will also go away.

Actually, on a vehicle with ground-switched lighting, what I'd do is fire the HIDs with a trigger wire from the headlight switch to a relay and just run the halogen high beams from the original vehicle harness.
