I made h4 harness`s for hella lvq212 gen 3 ballast, according the follwoing:

I just didnt install the fuse 15 amps going from the ballast to the relay and didnt install 1n4005 diode going from the relay to the halogen hi beams.

when I`m trying to power up the system, the headlight fuses from the fuse box blow up. what is going on, plz. advise....HELP.

here is a pic of the h4 socket, it takes 4 wires: black wires are ground, blue is halogen hi beam and red I connected to 86 on the relay.Is it right?


how can I find out where is the + and - on the ballast?

also I connected all ground wires into 85 on the relay.Is it correct?

Should I connect the negative wire from the harness`s to the - on the battery or to the vehicle ground?

sometimes while i`m testing the headlights everything is working (with the new fuse in the fuse box), but when I turn the headlights off and on again the fuse is blowing up.

The ground on relay terminal 85 is ONLY for the trigger wire on terminal 86 and should be a chassis ground. Get a beginner's book on DC electricity.
