honda accord gauge lighting

Anyone know what honda used to light up the gauges in the 03-05 accord's. i was told by others that its led's but,I'm not sure. If so,where can i find some ultra bright white led's??

First you have to determine model of LED (5mm, 3mm, oval or SMD type) in addition to opening angle (15, 30, 70 degrees are typical values). In general, I can recommend Nichia LEDs:

They should be obtainable a few places on the web.

yeah,I went ahead and picked up a used gauge cluster from an 03 accord so,i can take it apart to see what they used. I'll keep you informed so,maybe you can give me some pointers. I'm trying to duplicate the same look in my 2k accord but my current gauges just use 4-5 bulbs to light the whole cluster. I'm going to have to make some type of sheilds to direct the led's to just the numbers. shouldn't be too hard just wanna see what honda did behind the new clusters to get a better idea.
