Its not new... I have been using it for years to stop rust, but it can be used on headlamps as well. I just added data on it to

The main thing here is that in uncured form, it does not run away like JB Weld does. And cure time till dry touch is a 3-5 hours (3 days for full cure). I used it in combination with some drywall fibreglass tape with 2mm masking and it works great!
Bond strength is lower than a plastic welder, probably lower than JB-Weld too. I would say the best purpose for this is to cover up areas in the rear of a projector retrofit.
