Ive been thinking about upgrading my lights with an HID conversion kit (I know you probably dont want to hear this) however my main question is regarding warranty. I know that the NHTSA is currently cracking down on numerous US vendors/distributors resulting in product recalls or termination of sales. My question is if I get a product from a US based vendor, if I do have a problem with the product at a later date can they still provide me with products for warranty replacement? Or are they by no means allowed to obtain the product anymore? My apologies if this has been covered however Im just trying to get as much information as possible prior to spending several hundered dollars.
Thanks again,
Jon

This is simple. If it is illegal to sell, it is illegal to give you one under warrantee. The item that you bought would be subject to a recall, and if you sent returned it to the seller for warrantee, the seller would need to confiscate it and either destroy it or export it. You would not get one in return. Bottom line: please don't buy it.
