I bought a pair of philips hid bulbs and ballast's about 3 years ago and they were slightly used before i bought them. I've never had any problem but,I was wondering howe much longer they will last. They are the philips LVQ-212's.

As long as they are kept dry and connected bulbs are not misfiring, they should last at least 10 years.

wow,I've got a pair of bulbs rebased for 9006 application. they've worked great but,I'm going to retrofit a pair of projectors with d2s style bulbs. it would be alot cheaper to change the plugs on my current ballast's then to buy new ones.
