"Do you want to unvite anyone at Evergreen?" Anastacia asked me. We were going over plans for the funeral. I was so iironic, i was going over plans to win the Belmont and plans for a funerall all at once. "Um, i dont know. I guess I will, but I ownt make them, orr eally expect them to come. THey didnt know Adny that well. i guess Scarlet knew him the best I suppose. She was around more when Andy was. We'll see what ahppens." I shrugged. "Well I guess thats everything. I will make allthe phone calsl tomorrow evening. Hows Heather taking all of this?" She asked me. "Bewtter then I expected. When Alex died..." I shivered. Reaplies of that day came back to me. 6 years ago on Easter day I heard the news that Alex had been in a serious car crash. I was baffled. I couodnt belive it. I liked Alex so much. We had a , well dreamy relationshup I suppose. Picture oerfect. I couldnt go see Alex in the hopsital, I wasnt allowd too. He couldnt feel or move his legs, and he couldnt talk. I called his hopsital room though and talked to him. He would write replies to his mother who would read them to me. We both had ourr adio's on, and they were on the same station, by accident. I dont wanna miss a thing by Aerosmith came on. It became our song. What perfect timing to hear that song, and at the same time too. I only got to talk to him 3 times. A week later he tried walking and fell voer hitting his head and etting a sever concussion. Alex slipped into acoma, and that wasit. i never got to say goodbye. Andy's case was almost the same. Car crash, no good-byes. I quickle snaped out of my painful memories suddenly and forgot where i wasfor a second. Here I am so in love with Floyd, and Alex's death is still so vivd and painful. Im ena, if he was still alive, I wouldnt be here. No Floyd, no Chrissy, nothing,. I might not even have Dust, or Numby, or any horse! Thats me, alwyas trying to see the postive, even if its means something horrible."I-,I am going to lunge Humby." I said robotically walking down to the barn.

The phone rang and I ran through the apartment search for it. Jakob limped over to the coffee table.
"It's here," he said, "Calm down."
"Hello?" he said. "Oh, hey Ash. Are you okay? How's everything going?" He paused and I heard a weak voice faintly on the other end of the line.
"Oh," he said. "Okay. Here she is." He handed the phone to me then went back to the sofa and laid down, grimacing as he moved. I didn't know if he'd ever fully heal.
"Hello?"
"Scarlet?"
"Yes. Hi Ash," I said. "How are you?"
"Alright I think," she murmered.
"Good. So, what's happening?" I asked.
"Well, were are planning Andy's wedding and...I would like to invite you to come. But don't feel pressured," she said.
"Andy was the sweetest kid, of course I'll come. And I want to come see you too," I said, sympathetically. "Just tell me when and I'll be there."
