"Sean what would you like for a snack" I asked him after he finished a sanwhich that i'd made. "Cookies,' he barely whispered. I smiled. "of course," i laughed and opened the pantry. I opened a box f chocalte chip cookes and placed a few on a napkin then oured him a glass of milk like his mother had instructted and set them down on the table. "Thank you!" he laughed. I smiled. i too a cookie forr mayself and ate it with Sean.
After lunch Bryan took Sean to see the horses, and I fed MAdrian and got her to nap. She wasn't used to so much excitement. I kissed her cheeks and then quietly closed the door. i went downstairs and walked into the parlour. Misty was snoozing and Bryan was playing with Sean and his new red firetruck. "Vroom," Bryan laughed. Sean giggled. he was having the best time. "Mindy come play," Bryan smiled. "I need to rest," i rubbed my stomch. Sean stood up and walked over. "When's momm coming home?" he asked me. "On Monday," Bryan said. Sean sighed and climed into my lap. "i want her home Wight now," he hugged me. I was surprsied. here was Bryan's son in my lap hugging me. I patted Seans back. "I know, but she'll be here tommorow to pick you up okay?" she soothed. however it was wasted because Sean had fallen to sleep in m arms. Bryan smiled and carried Sean up to his bedroom then came back downstairs. "Mindy I'm going to call Cameron," he said softly. "what's wrong?" i asked. "Nothing i just think she should have an update," he said. "You're right," i smiled.
after a while he hung up, they've disconnected they're numbers," he came in angrily. "Bry you don't know that," I hissed. "Mindy I just got off the phone witht hte operator. Apparently they've changed the humber and don't want it givn out. "They're dumping Sean on us," he spat. "Bryan you brought htis on yourself," I said surprised at how mad he was. "Mindy I want a family of myyyyyy own!' he argued. The babymontor burst into cries. "We'll discuss this later," I shot him aglare and went upstairs.
Madrian was sitting u in her bed crying. i smiled softly pcke dher up she clung to me. "are you hungry?" I asked. she clung harder. i smiled and went nto the kithchen. brya nhad a bottle prepared. i smiled and took it. i went to the family room and started to feed Madrian. Then ean walked in sleepily. "Madriwn woke me up," "I'm sorry," I smiled. He shrugged and sa next to me. "Can I call you whatever i want?" he said softly. i was stunned. He was only four years old. "Of course you can,' i smiled. 'Can I call you Mommy?" he asked. "Bryan looked at me sharply. "I think you should talk to your mommy first, but Mindy is just fine right now," I replied tenderly. "What if my mommy doesn't ever come get m, then can I call you Mommy?" there was some sort of pleading in his eyes that made me want to hol dhim close and never ever let go.
"of course," I whispered, despite Bryan shaking head. he hugged my legs.
