I shivered from the cold as the dorr slammed shut. Colon had just finished with me. I was eft alone battered and frozen in the cold and dirty cage. I cried and sobbed. Where was Bryan? What was taking him so long? Doesn't he know? The tears streamed down my cheeks. I rubbed my extremely round stomach lovingly. Another burst of cold air sweapt the bleak room I wrapped the puny blanket around me. "Oh thank God," Bryans familar voice sent warm chills through my body. I got that old girlish feeling back I was so excited to see him. "Bryan?' I whispered. "mindy, thank goodness you're alive," he kissed my icey hands. I wanted to kiss hislps passionately and just go home and sleepin my soft bed. "Well, now that I've got money, do with her as you wish," colon kissed my lips rmantically one last time and bushed his hand on my cheek bones. "You will be rid of me now," he smiled and walked off. Bryan helped me put on some clothes he'd brought and then helped me out. "Where did he bring me?" I looked around. The trees were bare, the sky was sullen and grey, then grass was golden. "north Dakota," Bryan kissed my lips gently. "where is madrian?" Ia sked panicing. "Shh, she's at my mother's," he said bubkling him self up. "oh Bryan where did you find they oney to rescue me?" I asked. "Mindy be greatful that your dad and I love you so much." Bryan soothed. I understood. I leaned my head up againtt the window and closed my eyes. The heater blew warm air on me.
When I woke up I was in the hospital. "what?" Bryan looked down at me. "shh, Mindy it's okay. i just thought the doctors should check tomakesure you're gong to be okay," He smiled. I had IV fluids in one arm. "Yo were dehydrated." He explained. "The baby is healthy you've got nothing to fear. "We're still in North dakota," Bryan said. I nodded and fell back to sleep...
