i sat in the stall at Stony Creek quiet and contently, the mare next to was sleeping. The gelding across me was looking outside his window. "Hey!'" i said he turned and looked at me, "oh hello," he walked across his sall and stuck his head out. "My name is Harley," he said. "Mindy," I said. "well mindy you one of the prettiest mares here, probably the only one that deserves to be in such a fine place," he charmed. "Well you're very charming. What are you?'" "thouroughbred," he said. "ahh," i nodded. "Well i'm guessing Master is gonna breed you with Sebastian?" harley asked. "How did you know?" i laughed. "You're an Andalusion, you're gorgous and Sebastian will only breed with the most grogous of mares...that's why his foals are always well turned out," Harley said. "is that so?'" I asked. "You betcha," Harly said. i heard footsteps coming. I turned it was Jeannies father. "come here," he haltered me and led me outisde again. "Would you like to mee Sebastian?" he laughed haughtily. I followed patiently to a seclued paddock on the other side of the barn. the grey stallion was already there. "look Sebastian ain't she a beauty?" the man laughed. the grey stallion backed away from the gate and whinnied. i was let loose. nad I walked slowly to the other side of the paddock, the stallion followed. "hey baby!" he whinnied. I stopped feverishly i turned and laid my ears back. "Oh relax," he said soothngly he sniffed me. "You an't in season yet?" he said. i backed up and nipped his nose. "Ouch!" he he bellowed. "You're super," he nickered. I trotted intot he corner. "Look mare! i have to breed you in a couple weeks, we have to acquainted," he said. I walked closer to Sebastian."If i'm gonna breed with anyone you have to be a gentleman," snapped. "Yes ma'am," he nuzzled me. i nuzzled back. "So missy what's your story?" he asked. "what do you mean?" I asked. "Well you've gotta have a story, that's a pretty intresting leg marking, who were your parents?" he asked. "oh you wouldn't know them," I said "Try me," he smiled. i told him and he laughed. "so who gave them huan names?" he laughed. "humans," I said. "Well tell me your story," he nickered. together we sat down and I told him everthing. "You're a human that's a horse?" he whinnied. i bobbed my head. "Well i wonder if yu can have foals?" he nickered. i told him i ididnt know when I heard Jeannie call my name. i trotted over and let her halter to me.
She smiled at me, "Did you teach sebastian manners?" she laughed as Sebastian followed me to the gate. her fathher haltered Sebastian. i was lead to mystall. Harly nickered. "How'd you like Sebastian?" Harley asked. "oh he' very nice," I said. Harley whinnied amused. I laughed, Harley yo are very funny," I nickered. "yeah, that's true. Mindy but did you know I'm the only stallion in a mare barn?" he nickered. "Why?" i asked surprised. "Sebastian hates me," he smiled. i whickered to myself. then grain was poured into my bucket te feeder was turned and I ate.
