Jeannie had come down with a stomach flu, so I heard. so i stayed in my stall duiring lunch today. I nibbled at hay that had fallen to the floor. All around me something was happening. You culd hear the faint sounds of hooves going over the ground. The farrier hammering away, Grooms calling to eachother, and horses nickering contentedly in their stalls.
Robby one of the stable hands lead Harly out of the barn. "come on boy you got some breeding to do," He said. I watched Harly leave, i wished to myself that'd he'd get over his grudge. Joe waked over. "Hello Ms. Mindy," He smiled nad haltered me. I followed him outside to a paddock, "You get to go play with Sebastian today," Joe smiled. I began to prance excitedly. He laughed.
Sebastian was laready in the paddock when I arrived, He whinnied a greeting. Joe let me loose, and sut the gate. I took off cantering, Seabstian followed. "Seabstian, I said after we' made it to the futhest end of the paddock. "Hmm?' he said softly sniffing my mane swiftly. "Why does Harly hate me so?" I said. Sebastian stepped back and stood squarely. "Why do you care?" he sneered. "Well we started out pretty good friends, and the Rainfall came and he grew sour." i said nuzzling Sebastian tenderly. "Because Harly doesn't think he should have to share mares," Sebastian touched my nose. "Well, that's silly," I snorted. "You're telling me,' Sebastian snorted.
"So Mindy, did you think anymore about what I told you?' Sebastian nickered. I sniffed the ground. "Yes," I murmered. "And" Sebastian nickered. "I guess i do love you. But I love Rainfall too, and you have to allow that," I said. "why," Sebastian said biting my neck. I squealed and kicked. "because I have known rainfall since I was a foal," i said. "okay...as long as you don't have his kids," "I can't Rainfall is a gelding," I flicked my tail cherrily and trotted away. Sebastian whinnied a laugh. i answred back. I hada stomach ache, I layed down in the shed of the paddock. Sebastian stood next to me and we waited until we were taken inside.
