"Well filly, at least youre with dad. Say hi to good ole Speck for me. And teh others too please. I really miss you" I said sitting underneath Dust's tree. "Why did you have to go colick?!" I screamed suddenly, standing up and kicking a rock. I murmured a few more thoughts before walking away. The past two days had been heart wrenching. I had neglected my faimly, my friends, and even my horses. i felt bad, Floyd was in a cast and couldnt do much yet him Chrissy and Josh did all the work-both in and outside of the house. I started to follow the trail back to EG when the Black crossed my path. HE sulked over to me and trhsut his head in my hands. I was taken back by this. No threatning whinny, no staring contest, no rearing, no proving myself first. "Oh Black." I twirled his forlocks trhough my fingers and cried. He seemed to know. I talked to him for a few minutes and then he trotted off in teh distant to the rest of the grazing herd. i sighed and went to the barn. The little filly was back and had a clean bill of health. Holly had given me some awesome names for the gal and I had decided on Jewel of Ashes. Promising myself to name her baby some day Copper Sprinkles, as i thought tha twas an adorable name Holly made up. I looked at the stall, forlongingly. Ashes was in there, curked up in teh corner of the stall. The cats where curled up with her. I felt bad, but I had to move past because tears started to escape quickly. I walked up to the house. Floyd and Chrissy were eating dinner. smelled like soup. "hiya." I greeted, before running to my room. I threw myself on the bed adn cried. I didnt know what else to do, so I just cried...
