I trotted Rainfall, around trying to free my mind, luckily my mom had come to visit and told me to go have fun and she'd stay with the kids. And she said he oly reason for me to come home, was if i had a date, or I had injured myself.
So anyway, I was trotting rainfall over some ground poles when he shied away. i lened forward. "Whoa," i soothed. his ears swiveld back and forth listening to my calming words. "Sorry!" someone yelled. "Seth," i muttered a bit annoyed. he was lifting a striped pole over to a set of standards. i trotted over. "Normally, people here ask if it's okay to jump in here first,' I said. "i'm sorry, i'll do better next time,' he joked. raiinfall snorted apparently disgusted. "seth rested his hand on Ranfalls nose. "Say would you mind...precoaching me? I have a show this weekend and my horse that I'm riding wel we don't communicate,' he said. 'I- uh-sure," I stammered. "Great," he smiled and left. i watched him leave, Rainfall whickered softly. I pattded his neck. "You're right, he's got something up his sleeve. how would you like to kick some butt at that very same show?'" I leaned forward and scratched beind Rainfall's bridle path (his favorite place to be rubbed).
Seth wasn't a bad rider, I could understnad why he was admitted to Hill Top. i watched him go over the jumps one bye one. After watching for sometime i told himt o come in. "You might as well just not go to that show this weekend. I sighed. "What?" he said confused. "Don't get me wrong, you're a good rider, but on a better horse. Yo're anticipating him not going over the jump so your leanning forward trying to help. He doesn't need help. And since you're leaning forward so much once he' s cleared the jump you're on his neck. " Try those three again and stay in one place." i smiled politely. He nodded, and took the jump, I laughed to myself. He didn't understnad. "Watch,' I sad when he came to the center. i lead Rainfall out, "okay I picked up a caner and went through the jumps. being careful not to psuh with my legs too much, When I lifted and released i stay in onep place, i looked out the corner of my eye, Seth was smiling I took the enitre course. and went back to the center. 'i get what you're sayingg, trust Malcom, he'll get both of us over?' heasked. "Exactly," i laughed. and hugged Rainfall. ;You're a great rider, just be a little mre confident with your horse,'" I smiled and set u two oxers. "malcom can't jump that high," Seth laughed. I shrugged. "Oi don't care, I set these up for Rainfall,'" Rainfall bobbed his head I knew he was saying "Duh, what kind of person are you?" I laughed and urged rianfall to take the eas course and then we really put him to the test, he flew no mor elike glided over the jumps.
seth walked up to the stable with me, "God, I'm a friad about next week, Hill Top is such a big step," Seth said. I shrugged. "Everyone is pretty nice," I said. i un tacke drainfall and sat down on an upside dwn bucket waiting form himto cool. "Well Since I have been forbidden to seien my children until midnight, would you like to go get a burger?" I asked. 'i thought you didn't date?" Seth laughed. "i don't, but I'm starving and i hate eating alone," I smiled. "i know this great place,'" I smiled.
After the horses were cooled out and in their stalls i wentot my apartment showered quickly changed and walked down the hall Seth was locking the door. "My mom has al three kids, undercontrol, I can barely keep two," I laughed as we walked down the stairs. "Moms are awesome like that," he nodded. i smiled it was true.
"...Madrian will be one on the 26th and Sean will turn five May 11th..Danny was just born and then Bryan just left," I explained to Seth. "the father to your children jsut left you?" Seth seemed shocked. "It happenes everyday, why should i be an excpetion to the rules. At least my familay and friends treat me the same.
