I folded baby clothes and put them in boxes, "Mommy what are you doing? Sean asked sitting down nex to me. "packing," I sighed. "Why?" he asked. "Well, we're moving on monday, we're going to a riding academy," I smiled. "How come? he asked picking up a blue shirt. "Because, I have to go to school and i need money tp pay for things," I smiled. "Oh, is because Daddy left?" he asked. "why would that be a reason?" i said frowining alittle. "Well Daddy, said that you wren't a good mother and caouldn't afoord kids and horses," He told you that?" I said raising my eyebrows. "No he said it to Nana but i heard him," Sean said handing me a pari of pink socks. I nodded. "Sean why don't you go play with Misty," I smiled. "She's sleeping I don't wanna," he said. "Well watch TV," i suggested. he hook his head. "No, I wanna be with you," he smiled. My heart melted, what a sweet thing to say. "well, here help fold," I smiled.
Later, I took the kids downstairs to the barn to check on my hores. Rainfalls was sleeping peacefully, Camey was eating Pride was doczing, Clotver, Princess Hope, and Apollo they were all liping at stray pieces of hay.
As I walked up the stairs i passed seth, "Hi," he smiled. I stopped. "What's up?" I asked with a bright smile. He shrugged, "Just going to chek on my horses," he smiled/ "Ohh can I come?" sean asked. "Sean,, it's not polite to invite yourself places," i scled. "Oh no it's not a big deal, come buddy," Seth smiled. "Yay!" Sean sqquealed and followed seth down the stairs. i smiled to myself and walked slowly up the stairs with Madiran and Danny in both arms. i put Madrian down and opened my apartment door and loooked at the boxes. I sighed and put the babies in their playpens. I beagn to pack some more.
sean bursted through the door, Seth right behind. "Mommy!" He ran over, and hgge dme. I smiled. "what?" I asked. picking him up. "mr. Johnson took me on a trail ride, Apollo took off, hegot scared of a bird!" Sean was smiling. "And you weren't scared?" I asked. "Not a bit! I thought it was fun!'" he said brightly. Seath was laughing. "maybe just a little," he said. "Mr. Johnsons horse King is really fast!" Sean said taking my handand Seth's. "Really?" i said Seth smiled slightly. "Yeah, he catche Apollo and me really fast," Sean said and then he trotted off to play with Misty. "You took him on a trail ride, with all that's going on?" I said angrily. "Oh please we were fine," Seth rolled his eyes. "Are you some kind of idiot? You do not take children out aon trail rides when crazy people are shooting horses. What if the reason apollo had taken off was becaus ehe saw someone?" I said. "Mindy, relax, I was right beside him it wasa bird, King shied away too," He said laying ahand on my arm. "no more trail rides," I said more calmly. "Fine," Seth said pulling me close. he rested his hands on my waist and kissed me lightly on the lips. "just relax, i know these kids are your pride and joy...I wouldn't let harm come to them," he smiled. I nodded and reste dmy heand on his shoulder hugging him. "It's so scary," I murmered. "I know," he soothed. "let me take you and the kids out for Pizza," he smiled. "okay," i smiled up at him. "Okay, I'll get my coat and keys," he smiled. "No, I have carseat in my truck, you get your coat," I smiled. He smiled and let himself out. I changed the kids and prepared iaper bags, i grabbed my coa and keys and zipped SEan up. "Mommy are you and Mr. Johnson going to get married?" Sean asked as i tied his shoes. "No, why would you think that?" I laughed. "Well you kissed," he said. "that doesn't meant we're getting married," I laughed. "You kissed the way you used to kiss daddy," he said eyeing me closesly. "Sean just because two people kiss doesn't mean they'll get married I said Picking up Dan an dMadiran eth alked in aske di stuggled to pick up Madrian, he rescued me and took her. She clapped her hands the way she always does when she's happy to see somebody. I smiled and picked up the two diaper bags. "Sean take this one," I said. he nodded and took Madrians. We trooped down the hall and loaded the suburban. I buckled Madrian and Daniel in and got in on the passengers side. Seth drocve to the nearest pixxa place and we trooped out. I looked around nervously, then out of nowhere a flash came. I looked over to where it came. "Reporters," I muttered. They attacke dlike killer bees. I just kept walking. "Does this happen all the time?' Seth asked soothing madrian ask she cried. I nodded answering a question about Seth and where was Bryan.
We ate in peace though, the maager wouldn't let the flock of reprters in. "Et her eat peceflly, but I heard parents commenting. "Look at them, what a perfect family," Or else there was, "Teen parents, what a shame," .
After dinner we went back to Evergreen, i carried Danil and Seth carried sleeping Madrian. Sean followed closely behind. i hearda gunsot, Seth looked aorund, i held Daniel closse, and Sean gripped my free hand. "Madiran slept thorugh it. "what the heck," i mutttered.
When al the kids were settled I said goodnight to Seth. "Thank you for dinner," I smiled. he wrappe dhis arms around me "It was the least i could do, since you did coach me, i'm only sorry that show was cancelled," he said slowly. "Yeah Rainfall was lookinf forward to it" I nodded. He laughed. "He said so?" I nodded. "You're a riot," he brusthe dmy cheeks softly. i leaned forward and kissed him "Sean asked me a question today," I said laying my hand on seths chest we sat down in the couch. "doesn't he always have questions?" "This ne was especially intresting. i sighed. "What was it?" Seth asked running his fingers through my hair. "He asked me if i was going to marry you, because he saw me kiss ing you and said it was the way i kissed Bryan, and we were going to get married." i finished. Seth chuckled. "He asked me that today, he asked if I liked you enough to marry you and I said sure." I sat up and looked at Seth wide eyed. "you like me that much?" Ia sked. "Sure, you're like the first girl I have met that's actually intouch with the real world, and you're just such a great person" he smiled. i blushed, "Thanks," I cuddled close to him.. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed the top ofmy head. "i better go,' he smiled" I nodded sleeplily. "Bye" he whispered. "Bye, I yawned. then he gave me onelast kiss and got up, I stood up and watched him leave. i went into my room and changed into a ight shirt and boxers i went into the kitchen and madea cup of tea and went into the den and watched TV. Then I went to bed and fell asleep.
