"Stupid dishwashing machine!" I grumbled to myself as I kept myself from kicking it. "I give up." I declared with a sigh as I sat down. "Is it acting up again?" Charles ask as a comercail came on the tv. "Yea, like usual." Leafing through a magazine, I noticed that dish-washing machines were on sale. I laughed. Of course. Walking to my room, I heard a noise in the kitchen. It was the dishwasher. Smiling to myself, I flopped on my bed and flipped on the tv since Charles was watching some dumb show in the living room. Now I knew how he and Adam were such great friends. They had some unusal taste for the dumbest shows. As the phone rang, Charles answered. I heard my name called as I lazily walked out into the living room. "Who is it?" I mouthed to him. He simply shrugged his shoulders and handed me the phone. "Hello?" I spoke as I walked back to my room. "Hello Mrs. Bragg, this is Cheryl, I'm calling to notify that your past troubles with a Ms. Andrea Kirk shall no longer procede." Confused I paused. "There's a straining order, I haven't had any incounters and am not supposed to?" My voice must of hinted Cheryl that it was necciscary to rephrase her comment. "What I mean Mrs Bragg, is that I am notifying you of the death of Ms. Andrea Kirk. Your pressence is requested at her funeral." The words struck cold and hard. Could it be? Andrea, who had nearly killed Mindy and who I oculd've killed easily but didn't. My next words were cracked but not because of sorrow, but confusion. "Dead? How?" I asked. "She was in an accident." She told me. "Oh, why am I requested to come?" I asked. She hated me, why did she want me there. If it was an open-casket, I'd have to see her. "I am unsure, but you're requested." After giving me the information, which I jotted down for the heck of it, I hung up and walked into the living room. "Who was that?" Adam asked, he had returned from the store. Not answering, I sat down. "She's dead." I whispered. I wasn't completely sad, but it all came as a shock. "Who's dead hun?" Adam asked as he sat down to next to me, arms wrapped around me. "Andrea." I said, and filled the two in with what Cheryl had told me. "Wow, so it's all over?" Charles asked. I nodded. So much had been done in the past. We had tried to block her from our memory, but now it was impossible.

When I came into te house after lessons phone had just begun to ring. "Hello?" i answered. "Mindy?" "this is she,' i said confused. "It's Nikki, i was just calling to give yo some information," she said. "information, what kinds?" i laughed. "Andrea's dead," she said. The name sounded familar. "No offens nik, but i have no idea who you're talking about,' I said. "You know Andrea, the Andre a that nearly killed you," she persisted. "Oh my god,' i whispered. "Are you sure? did someone kill her?' i asked wishing Sean wasn't in the room. "Mom who are you talking about?" Sean begged. "Sean go change," i whispered. he scowled and stomped off. "Well i guess it's good, but I seriously didn't know ho the heck we were talking about at first,' i laughed. "oh i know," she giggled. "hey would you and Adam like to come eat dinner with us tonnight, It hink Seth is making a steak," i said. "i waited for her reply...

"Sure! We have a lot to catch up on!" I hadn't seen Mindy in ages. Memories of when we went trail riding long ago crossed my mind. "What time, and anything we can bring?" I asked..

*Ack, sorry for the short post*

"Oh how about six thirty," i said. "wonderful, i can't wait to see you...can I have directions,' she said. i giggle dof course. I gave her the directions. "well, i cna't wait to see you, i know we have so much to catch up on," she said. "Oh do we ever<" i said fingering my new engagement ring with a secretive smile. We said good byes and then i hung up to go get Madrian dfrom her crib.
she sniffed and hugged me. "Up," she whined. "madrian, you're silly," I purred she laughed. "Mommy who was on the phone?' Sean whined. "Nikki, her and her husban are coming for dinner so i want behaivor out f you," i said firmly. 'I know, Do you think they would wan tto watch me ride Apollo?" he asked. "Sean I think nikki doesn't even know about you and or Daniel so I would just wait until she you guys meet," i smiled kindly. "Hello?' Seth''s voice yelled. "dad!" Sean ran n and hugged Seth. "Here tak this,' Seth handed him a platc bag. Sean dragged it into the kitchen. "e're having guests over for supper tonight" i said. "Really who?' Seth said putting away groceries. "sme old friends of mine from Evergreen. "Really? Plese tell me that it's not the entire crew?' he teased. i smirked at his sarcasim. "No, actually I don't htink you have met thim. It's the Braggs Adam and Nikki...oh you'll love them they're so nice," I smiled seth kissed my lips gently. "Well, okay,' he smiled. "What else are we having mr. chef?' i asked. "baked potatoes, a salad, and cheesecake or chocolate pe for dessert,' he said unloadin each thing. "Yum," I laughed he turned and kissed me. "Look at that ring, it's so darn gorgous," he laughed. "Yes, well my prince gave it to me,' I said hugging him. "Well, he's got exceelent tastte six karrots," bye the way," e smiled. "Oh my gosh Seth you must have spent a fortune!" i gasped. "No, my dad lent me the money. "Your father?" wow,' i breahted "he laughed.

The phone rang. It was late and Jakob answered.
He said hello and was silent for a few moments. I came out of our bedroom to see who it was. His expression turned from that of content to surprise. I never knew quite what to expect with Jakob, his face had never been a good reflection of his feelings - mostly for my sake.
"Andrea Kirk..." he began, walking towards me, "was killed in an accident."
My heart jumped into my throat.
"She's... dead?!?!" I croaked.
He nodded solemnly. As much as I hated that girl, I never thought that she deserved to die... she had wreaked havoc on Evergreen and everyone here. She had even almost killed one of my best friends.
Jakob continued, "Nikki has been asked to attend her funeral." I nearly choked.
"Requested?" I repeated.
He nodded again. "Requested. Nikki is not sure why either."
I shook my head. Why? I guessed that now that Andrea was dead, we'd never find out.
