Around 6 in the Am I got a call from the one and only Floyd. Lets just say that I wasnt too thrilled at all. I wanted to hang up on him but at the same time I had to remeber he was still Chrissys father and still myfiance even if he is a killer. "Wht do you want?" I breathed into the phone exrtemely angrily. "JUst to say hi and that I miss you to oand that I mstill sorry and that I hate you for what youve done to me." And then there was a click. Oh that was just great. What a wonderful phone cal lfrom awonderful person! I slammed the phone down, checked to see if Chrissy was still sleeping and then went down to the barn. NUmby anxiously whinnied as I appraoched the stalls. "HIya hunny. Whatcha doing up so early? Couldnt sleep? Did Floyd call you too?" I laughed hugging his neck after avoiding a nip. He nickered softly and blew warm aair out of his nose. I gave him a scoop of sweet feed to keep him content while the other horses slept. I peered in Dust's old barn and the little filly, who i have to sotp xalling little since she is almost up to my shoulders. She whinnied like a baby and waddled over to the stall door. I laughed and kissed her muzzle. She was just a sdepreesed as I was, although i tried not to show it. Ashes never let you forget it! "JEwel of Ashes." I repeated her name over and over again. I realied I wouldnt be able to race her. She could never be like her "mom" She didnt have papers when I found in her in the bush. A tear trickled down my cheek and I heard a loud kick coming from, a few stalls downn. "Joj." I giggled wlaming over to him. "Hiya." I said reaching outm to pet him. HE nuzzled my hand before kickung again. I laughed "Dont worry, Im sure Sammy wil be down here soon enough. I have my ownm horses." I smiled and gave him one last pat. Chrissy had made her way down to the barn and wanted to know everything there was to know, about everything that happened with Floyd, i sighed and poured my mind out.

I yawned and let myself into Jojo's stall, he whinnied and rushed over and nuzzled me and then snorted at Elmer. Elmer yaned and began his whining for breakfast, "No," I said firmly. He barked and went to the corner of Jojo's and began to do his daily bussiness. (I think we all know what that is). I rolled my eyes and grabbed Jojo's halter and tied him up to his stall and went to get my grooming box I brushed him really well, then I put a bareback pad onhim and bridled him. I sighed and put my helmut on and then went to the arena ad got up. Jojo was tired I could feel his muslces losses up wit every stride.
After he'd loosened up I cantered and stuff then I put his turnout blanket on and turned him out in the paddock he and Elmer trotted around. Poor Elmer wanted to play herd and Jojo wanted to play tag. I sighed and Called Elmer in. "HErd 'em up!" I yelled. Elmer barked and chased Jojo up to the gate. I praised Elmer and led Jojo in. He whickered and whinnied to all the horses. I smiled and patted Jojo's neck then Ashley smiled and walke dover. "Hi," she said. "Hi," I said. "You're horse is pretty cool, that was awesome how he was actually playin with your dog," she said. I shrugged. "Well, Elmer has some erding dog in him and he get around pretty well for a fat dog," i laughed. Elmer growled and ploopled on the gorund and immediately began to snore. "Wow, that's harsh," she laughed. "We should go riding some time," she smiled slightly. I bit my lip. "Yeah, I think Jojo would like the trails out here, he hated the trials at the other barn." i nodded. "Sweet" she said. Jojo niblled at my hair , I grabbed myhair and pulled at his mane. he whinned and bit me. I slapped him. "Stop," I said . He lowered his head. Ahsley smiled and left. "See, what you did?" I said glaring at him he whickered I hugged him. I put his blanket on and led him to his stall I buckled the kick chains around his legs so he would hurt himself and then I went to clean my stuff up Elmer follwed me begging for food.
