Meredith was awake when i went to get her and playing with kaiser and baxter on her bed. "Honey, you know the dogs aren't allowed up there! Kaiser, Baxter, come!" the dogs lept to my feet and i rewarded each with a bikkie. Meredith pouted. "Come one honey, get up! I'm going to give you and Thistle a lesson, and Rose is going to watch, before we meet this Eliza girl."
Meredith lept out of bed and tugged on yesterdays jodz and pulled on a clean shirt. "Who's going to watch?" she asked curiously "i thought you meant English Rose for a sec!"
"I do." i replied. "I'm starting breaking her in today." Meredith wrinkled her nose at the breaking in term "I know, Meredith, but i'm not saying Im going to whisper to my horse til she does what i want because she wants to do it for me, not because she has to, everytime i have to mentain her training. Breaking in will suffice."

Meredith was silent til we reached the stables, then, curiosity overcame her peevishness at having a dressage lesson instead of learning to jump - again. "why is rose watching?" she asked. "She's learning ground tying, and she can stand there and not be distracted by another horse capering around. Shes actually quite good rite now. I'll be there with her just in case, but she'll only be there for 10mins or so anyway, so she dusnt get bored and leave."
"oh," meredith replied. "I'll meet you in the arena in 10, then?"
