I watched Seth jump duke inthe arena- this show as going grat ao far all of my students were placing high. Seth finsihed the couse and exited. I smiled and walked vover. "That was an awesome round, in you next class-12 it's equitation that on you and the hose, try and keep him on the bit and keep you knees closed I have to go get Rainfall warme dup-good luck" i smiled he nodded and walked tp the arm up arena.
"This is some show isn't it theses horses arn't very smart' rainfall said as I tightened his girth. "Oh hush-they're younger- no offense but you were kinda dumb when you were ten," I siad. he snorted. "so were you," he nipped my hunt coat. I narrowed my eyes and brdked him. "okay let's go," i putmy helmu ton and wentto the warm up rang. rainfall was smooth as silk, unfortunately I kept hearng people comment him or me or the both of us and Rainfall lsitned and would show them up. "Rainfall, please ignore them I know wha they're saying and i really on't wantolook likea fool," I pleaded. he nodded and we lef thte ring.
"Our next rider number 12 Mindy Hollander on midnight Rainfall, the audience clapped the bell rang and my nerves left my body as we floated threw the couse flawlessly i was finished in 1:00 and the time limit being 2:00. I smiled. "thank you rider," the annoucer said "good boy," i praised. And aited for the placings. I watched as each horse refused, knocked a jump or a rider fgot the curse, and then the wrost hing happened t me, Veronica, a girl in my lesson had a perfect roudnd just as perfect as mine in the smae amount of time. "A jump off will be neccesary for number 41 and number 56" the annoucer called. i watched and lisnted to my coach rainfall would be fine I knew it, and he knew i, they had three oxers, the highest 4 foot oxers and a water jump. I entered the arena the bell rang I urged rainfall into a cnater we didid our coutesy circle and took the couse, each jump more perfec tthan the last water jump was easy each oxer was a breeze, the time limit 1:0 we finsihed in fifty seconds. I lfet the arena and watched Veronica, Leonardo her horse refused the fist jump twice and was disqulified when he crashed through the water jump. "fisrt place will go to midnight rainfal, ridden and owned by Mindy Hollander number 41." i took the blue and then aother and then another and then one more. i was finshed for the day. Seth came over and smiled. "awesome babe!" he kissed me. i laughed. 'thanks," I kissed his lips and then untacked my horse. "will all advanced show jumpers come for their final placings and the cup," I trotted off. "First place and the winner of the cup will go to number 41 mindy hollander!" the crowd bursted into applasue i was handed a medal and grogous blue and a silver trohy. I held it up happily and ran out to show Rainfall. "i helped," he siad making sure winning hadn't goene to my head. "oh I know!' i laughed kissing his jaw. "Are you talking to your hose?' Vernica came by. "no," I said quickly. "Well whatever- i just wanted to tell you great job," she smiled. "you too," I nodded she smiled and walked off.
when we got back I helped unlaod horses and put hinkgs up and then ran into the house. Sean was sleeping and so were the babies. "thanks somuch Joyce," I smiled. "Oh midny it was apleasure and Seth tells m you had an excellent day," she smiled. i nodded happily and showe dher out.
