I kissed Rebels nose before leaving the stable and going up to the apartment. 'See you later pookie," i smiled and walked up to the apartment.
Missy bounced over with welcome, i laughed and squatted down and patted her. "Missy, i don't like this part of being preganat, i have to squat." i said picking her up and walking into the den. Cooper walked in, "your mom called, she wanted to have us for dinner tonight," he said. "really? okay," i smiled i sat up and went to shower and changed, sweater overalls ponytail and tennis shoes I tied a pink bow around my pony tail and then Cooper helped me with my coat.
There were a few cars parked in the drive way. I wondered if she was havinga party. i walked inside "emily lovey!" 'hey Gran, what's going on?" o asked. "oh sweetie, i can't believe it. You and cooper having bebe," she patted my stomach. i found my mother talking to my Aunt Elixabeth. "Mom, what's going on?" I asked. "Well Em, I thoought-" she cut off. "A party" she said. "Why?" "Well, I just thought id be fn and nobody else knew about your baby and you're getting married on Friday," she smiled. i swallowed, "okay," i wanted to die, i hated it when my mom did thing slike tat, cooper and I just wanted our parents to be there. cooper came over and took my hand. "A party-and Bob informed me all these people are coming to our wedding?" Cooper stared at me. "Cooper i swaer I had kno idea," i promised. "i believe you," he said and looked at my mother. "Mrs. Bricker, we have dinner reservations," Cooper was angry about this, and i couldn't blame him. I followed him out. "the nerve," i he said madly. i nodded. I walke dup the stairs to the apartment and sat ont he couch cooper sat next to me. "I'm sorry," I said. "it'snot your fault,' he soothed. I hugged him he kised my lips tenderly. "What's for dinner," I asked. "potato bar?' he asked. "sounds good," I nodded. he went to bake the potatoes and I made iced tea. the way Cooper had reacted to m mother's party remdinded me of my Dad and it just gave mea wonderful since of securty it was weird.
