I stared blankly up at the ceiling, the room was cold and silent. I didn't want to watch television, and didn't want company. "What had happened?" i kept wondering over and over. the nurse opened the door and smiled bringing over a tray of food. "I'm not hungry," I said. "You need to eat," she said grumpily. I stared at the slop on the plate. "fine," i sighed and began to nibble at the food.
"Seth has Colon been found yet?" I asked. "I'm afraid he hasn't," He said. "I'm sorry," I said. "I feel so guilty not telling you," I said. "Oh mindy that's okay, I'm just glad you're okay,' he said. he leaned forward and kissed my cheek. The door opened. Sean and Bryan came in. "Mom," seanasked climbing into my lap. "Yes Sean?" I asked. "Are you better?" "oh Sean I'm better than I was,'" I cringed my ribs had begun to hurt again. "daddy said you could have died" I looked at seth. Seth looked at me. "I guess I could've," I nodded. Sean shuttered. "i'm glad you woke up," He smiled. I smiled too. "I'm glad i didn't either."
