I trotted Phantom on the longe line, "good boy," I praised he snorted and trotted on with impatience. "Canter,' He broke into the canter with ease and pleasure I let him canter for a while before I brought him back down to the walk. As I led him to his stall I wondered why he was named Phantom. He seemed more like a Sea Storm, or something more gentle. I smiled though Phantom suited him fine. His strange off roan coloring I supposed. I patted his neck. "You're a goodboy," I smled he gently nuzzled me and nipped my hair I laughed. And went to bring Rebel in from the paddock, but Cooper had sweetly already done that. I sighed and walked up the stairs to the apartment. iopened the door and was greeted by missy and Skipper. I laughed and picked Missy up I made her and Skipper lunch and then went and got their leashes and walked them outside.
A black car I didn't recognize pulled into the parkling lot as I walked. I stoped the dogs and watched as the car was followed by a massive truck pulleding a massive trailo r. I heard the low pitched squeal and the stamping of some heavy hoovs that shook the truck and the trailor slightly. "Missy yapped furiously and Skipper joine din. "hush," I snapped. Soon i fugired out why two small dogs popped out of the indow in the black cr. I touched my stomach nstinvely, but i didn't know why.
First an older man appeared from the drivers seat, he opened the back door and first came the two dogs and then an older woman followed by a young girl perhaps my age or a year older, then she was followed by a very good looking boy about Cooper's age or maybe a year younger, and hee was followed out by a large mutt looking dog. The older woman walked over to me.
"Are you the girl I spoke with, over the phone?" she asked. "no ma'am, you probably talked to Scarlet," I yanked Skipper's leash. "Well we need a stal for our horses," she said. "Well I can't help you, but if you give me-" "Yong lady do you know who i am?" she cut me off. "Sorry no," i gulped missy barked. "hush,' I said. I picked her up. "I am Chanel Lewis, and those are my children Adrian Lewis and Nicander Lewis, and our champion andalusions Ember and Maximus," she said airly. "Sorry, i didn't know," i said. "Well you do now, and you will find us stalls," she spat. "Follow me,' I muttered. i waddled up the hil towards the stables. cooper was feeding. 'Mrs. Lewis needs two large stalls," I said to hm. "Mrs. Lewis can kiss my-" he said. "Cooper she needs them now," i gulped. "oh, fine,' he wped his swaety brow and looked at a chart. "These two," he pointed. "right next to Phantom and Rebel?" "Sure,' he nodded.
I lead Mrs. Lewis and her children to the stalls. "Pick one," i poined to the empty stalls. Nicander lead his horse to the on next to Phantom and Adrian lead her's into the one on the other side of Ashley's horse cloud. "thank you. Cildren i'll have Joe pick you up in an hour, help the grooms with your things," she snapped her finger and she left with her two dogs. I started a my feet and then looked up. 'Well I'll leave you then." I smiled. "You're a groom and you're to help us with our things," Adrian sneered. "Wrong, I'm a resident who does not help you with squat," I said calml. "Butyou helped us find our stalls, you must work here," Nicander said. "I can assure you that I was just being polite and that i will tell my husband to help you, after he's done feeding,' I siled rudely and walked my dogs back to the apartment.
I knew hey were following me by yards, I shut the door and there was a knock. "i touche dmy stomach hungrily. "food sounds so good,' i agreed and grabbed some prigles fro te pantry. I opened the door. "May I come in?" Nicander asked. "No,' I said missy growled. "Ma'am I am certain that you are being sarcastic. I'm the richest boy in north america you will let me in. "Richest boy, that would explain you're spoiled attitude, now be certain I'll calll the police if you don't go away. "What is your name?" he asked lettinghimself inside. I stared. "emily," "emily I pride myself in charm, and I can see you pobably was outwitted,' he stared at my stomach. "Sir I'm happily married," I said getting annoyed. cooper came in. "mr. Lewis your stuff is unloaded and put away and now you can leave my wife becaus eI'm here," Cooper said. Nicander glowered and left "good bye my fair lady," he waved and strutted out. I hugged Cooper. "I can't believe those awful peole will board here!' I whispered. Copper Shuttered. "Me neither," he tilted m chin pwards and kissed my lips softly I smiled and kised him back. "let's go do more baby prepartions," I smiled he laughe dand we went to decorate the loft he'd built, it was very darling.
