I walked down the aisle delightedly, "why are you so happy?" Cooper asked resting his head in the stick of the broom. "look what i got in the mail," i held up an adorable summer set, for little girls and one for a boy as well. "Oh Coopeer aren't they just darling?' i asked. "they're tiny," he said awkwardly. I smiled. "i'll see you later," I smiled and kissed his cheeek. he touched my stomach fatherly. "Can I count on it?" he teased. I laugh ednad hugged him . "of course." I smiled ad trotted off with the two darling outfits.
As I again walked down the stable aisle I saw Nicander tacking up his horse. I gulped and walked up to my horses. "Hello Emily," he said taking my hand. Ironically my wedding hand. he fingered the ring, it wasn't much but I adored my wedding ring that he finered. 'the boy couldn't even afford a real gold ring," he smirked. i yanked my hand bac. "Slime ball," I cursed. nicander grabbed my arm. "emily if you leave him I can give you so much a care free life," he said touching my belly. "Get away!" i hissed. Nicander smiled gently. "My lady you don't mean that," he soothed. "I most certainly do, now getaway!" I puled he tugged and his lips came frth and brushed my own for two minutes. th baby kicked. Thank god I thought. "ouch," I backed. 'Oh my bride,what hurts you,' he said. I kicke dhim. he relased me. i smiled and rotted off. but tears glided down my cheeks. i wiped my weyes. Nicander was a bad person to have at Evergreen. first off, he was handsome and could charm many girls out of their minds. second of all, he was confusing, and slippery like soap. He was also powerful, he would act ike a total jerk and then turn around and proabl do something so romantic or heart wamring you could fall inlove with him and then he'd break your heart.
i was thankful when Cooper came home tthat evening for dinner. "Cooper, I don't like Nicander Lewis, he hit on me today, he kissed me and touched me," I said bluntly Cooper stared at me. "Are you okay," asked cupper my cheeks. I wipe dmy eyes. "i'm afraid of him," I murmered. Cooper ran his finers through my hair the way he alway did whe I was upset or tired or scared. It seemed to relax me and I sank into his chest. He kissed my head. "Don't you worry Em, I'mhere and won't let him hurt you," he muttered. his clenched fists said it all, he would confront Nicander. "Be careful Cooper he's slime, I'm afraid and don't want you hurt," I said sittingup. Cooper smiled. "Chica don't sweat it, nicander can't hurt me," he smiled. I smiled rihtly the baby kicked, again," i smile dI took his hand and placed it on my stomach and there it was again. "it's got hiccups," I crooned. i laughed. coper smiled and kissed me. "We'll always be together," he reminded me. "I have no doubts," I smiled.

Emily had already complained about Nicander a few times and I had insisted that he wasn't that bad. Today, however, she called and complained about him touching her and grabbing her, which is totally unacceptable. I had told her I'd talk to him. I couldn't actually kick someone out of EG unless they had commited an actual crime. Until then, I could only ask them to leave or tell them to stop whatever they were doing... I could see this turning out to be a problem like Andrea.
I went out to the stables and tacked Millicent for a workout. She was thrilled to get out of the stall and into the fresh air. I slipped the bit into her mouth and did up her bridle when I heard a sudden movement behind me. I jumped, and in turn, Mill jumped. I turned around to find Nicander.
"Ah, Scarlet," he said, his tone oozing charisma.
"You must be Nicander," I said.
"That I am," he replied, and he took my hand and kissed it.
I bit my lip so as not to laugh aloud. Millicent pressed my shoulder.
"I haven't forgotten about you!" I whispered to her, leading her out of the stall.
"Who's the beauty?" Nicander asked, leaning to stroke Mill's neck.
"Millicent..." I replied.
"Odd name," he commented.
"It's out of my favourite childhood book," I explained. He ran his hand along her neck and Millicent turned to examine him.
"She gorgeous," he said again.
"So, have you met anyone at Evergreen yet?" I asked him.
"Not at all..." he lied, "No one seems to talk to me, all the ladies here though are lovely though. Especially that Emily girl, that is her name right?"
"Right," I said slowly, through gritted teeth. He was lying and I knew it. I knew Emily wouldn't say that he had harrassed her if it wasn't true.
"Well, I'll see you around, Scarlet. You and your Millicent have a fun little ride," he said cheerily and trotted off. Millicent snorted.
"Yes, Mill, he is a dork," I said quietly. "What say you and I keep an eye on that one?"
