i stared at the choclate gelding for sometime, he was totally unawrae of me. "You're such a goober," I thought. as he dozed. I walked off and smiled at a cute palomino, it looked at me confused. "Who are you?" It asked. "Mindy," I smiled. the palomino was at least 17 hands and was pretty gorgous. "Who are you?" "copper," he sighed. "It's a dull name...for a mare," she added. "You can talk to me?" she shied. "oh it's okay," I smiled. She moved closer sniffing y hand. "you smell good," she lipped at my fingers. i giggled. "What do I smell like?" "Warmth, placidity, kindness," she sighed. "I don't know kindness, very well. But it's all over this place somehow," she nickered. my heart was breaking. "What's your story?" I asked. "i just move around a lot," she sighed. "Aww, you poor thing," "You don't seem to know kindness very well either though. YOu know tension and fright," "You are one ensightful little horse," I laughed letting myself in. "Please name me I hate Copper. It's what my mother called me," she snorted. "What would you like to be called?" She sighed and was quiet for a moment. "something with flowers and sunshine, something with Spring," she sighed. I thought for a moent. "Springs first flower?" I asked. "No," she snorted. "Sping Delight, and then you could be called..." "Daisy," She finished. i laughed. "I love it!" she nickered and nudged me. "oh you sweet thing," I laughed. and kissed her cheek. "Well Daisy would ou like to meet my horses?" She whinnied as I put the rope halter on and lead her outside Rainfall trotted up to the fence. "Hey, my owner once new that orse," she gasped. "rainfall?" "No, her name was midnight," she nickered. my ears rang with the name. "Rainfall's twin," I gulped down the thoughts and ignred daisy as she rambled on and on about the filly I had given away so many years ago. rainfall Really really liked Daisy and Daisy gave him a run for his money. Camey thought it was all distasteful and chatted with me.
"Seems like you found a horse?" Scarlet asked. "Daisy," I laughed as she romped with Rainfall. I scratched Cameys ears. "I thought she was copper?" "We changed her name...may I adopt her?" Scarlet looked at me through narrow eyes. "What are you planning?" I laughed. "Well she's three and huge and energetic great jumpers body," I said. Scarlet laughed. "mindy I said you could if you wanted." "Oh thank you!" I smiled. "DAISY YOU'RE MINE!" I screamed. She stopped with pricked ears and whinnied gleefull and took off at a full blow gallop and ran the paddock. "Jumpers enthusiasim as well," Scarlet laughed. I smiled to myself. Daisy would take me to the olympics, and i knew rainfall knew it and I knew he was happy.
I brushed rainfall when he turned and nosed me. "You're taking her aren'tyou?" he nickered. "How'd you know," I winked. "When she whinnied and galloped. And Mindy, it's for the best. Don't feel guilty," "I don't," I said. "You do and I can smell it," he lipped my jeans. I hugged his neck. "Ohh rainfall, You're so silly," i sighed. "i love you," I whispered. and lead him to his stall.
