"What do you mean take my horses?" i said stunned talking into the phone. I had received a phone call from some animal police. "ma'm we have heard that u are abusing your animals and not taking care of them. We have evidence of this and are coming to seize them. I hope you also understand you will be arrested and put on trial." I stared at the ceiling shocked. "What are you talking about? i couldnt take any better care of my horses! How can you have evidence otherwise?" I half shouted. "Im not at liberty to say anything else." And then the phone was silent. "Jason!" i ran outside yelling. He was helping Chrissy with her and Clouds jumping abilities. "Whats wrong hunnie?" He asked worried. I told him about the phone conversation, sobbing. "I odnt know what to do." I cried. "Sshhh. It'll be alirght, no one is taking yor horses." He said protectively. I immediately ran over to my horses and hugged each of them. "What if I let them loose and then they cant take them away. The Black would take care of them." i said hopefully. "Ash, that would get you in trouble. Dont do anything that makes u seem guilty." He reasoned Without even thinking I took my horses and walked them over to the free lands. "go." I shouted. "Please leave. Please." I cired hugging them. Just then The Black appeared and whinnied. Then he trotted over to his and stood his ground telling my horses he was in cahrge and they HAVE to lsiten to him. My horses looked at me and finally Numby ran off first, then Cloud, Bond, and Humby. The little filly followed close, thinking we were playing a game. My poor babies. before i knew it Jason was at my side. We wlked back toEg and there was a cop car. "Wheres the horses?" He asked me angirly. "They ran away. They dont want to go with you." i shouted. I was handcuffed adn taken away.

I listend as Jason told me what happened. I wiped swaet off my dripping face we'd just won a double header, and I was completely dead. "Well, it's obvious who did it," I said with a yawn. "who?" he shot me a glare. "Floyd or whatever his name is," i said closing my eyes. "Yeah that's what i've been thinking. "anyway Chrissy is staying with us," he said. "does mom know?" I asked. "Yeah, She's staying in your room Karen's been sent to bunk downstairs in the guest room," he said. "I can't believe it," I muttered softly. "I'm the next in line for my own room, and here's my chance and Karen gets it," I thought of the bitterest most cruelest things to spout off at Karen the rest of the way home.
I trudged up the stairs and threw my gear on the floor and laid on my bed Cinderella pawed I scooped her up and plopped her small body on my stomach. "won both games, wish I could die," I sighed. She barked and began licking my face. I laughed and played with her a little. I groaned again. I carredCinderella down stairs and grabbed a pint of milk and gulped it down and then gave cinderlla some more atrfical milk as I watched TV.
Around eight afterI'd refreshed jason annouced Chrissy's arrivial, Karen made her way down the stairs toward the bassemnet htrowing me a spiteful look. I looked down. chirssy walked over to me. "Is tha tyour puppy?" she asked. I nodded. "She's uh, cute?" she looked at me. "i know she's not gorgous, but she might grow into them," I smoothed her mane hair down. (seriously Cinderella has got patches of longhair, she's not a very pretty dog, but i love her!) I smiled and played with the pinknose Cinderlla wagged her stumpy tail and began pouncing in my lap. I giggled.
Around ten I wet to bed. chrissy was sound alseep. i put cinderell in the crook between my legs and stomach and then slept as well.
