I stared at the neon green cast on my arm it had two signatures, one from Jason and the other from my mother. I had read them both over and over. "Broke my arm in two places, stupid itdot throughbred," I grumbled. Karen laughed a litt.e "YEs that's what he is and remakably so are you" I through a softball at her she doged it and it hit the wall. "HEY!" I heard my mothers voice ring from downstaairs. I sighed and scrated Cinderella's head.
Jason took me into Evergreen since he was leaving tonight he wanted to say bye to Ashley and Chrissy. I brought my horses in. Shane came over he was smiling, "may I sign your cast?" 'Nope," I said simply. He frowned at me. "come on Sam," he said. "You better not call me that or I'll whack you with this cast,' I said feeling tears weel up in my eyes and uncontrollably begin to fall. I sat down on the hay bale. Shane sat next to me. I didn't make any gestures to him and he didn't touch me anyways he just sat there and watched me cry. Jason came down with Chrissy oon his shoulders. "What'd you do," he demanded. "Nothing," Shane muttered. "Then leave," Jason said indignately I walked with jason to the car. he gave Chrissy one more hug goodbye and then then we got in the car and left.
"Sammy you've got to forgive the guy," Jason said. "Noooo" I bawled. He didn't o home right away he took me for ice cream which somehow makes everything better. He stared at me. "What?' I said wiping my eyes. "Maybe i shouldn't leave yet," he said. "JASON!!!" I said He smiled. "i know, i know but I jus thae leaving you right now since you're havng uy problems,' he said. my stomach lurched. "please, not now dont ruin the moment," I said he nodded. "well i don't know, Samm" he groaned. "Jason, this is stupid, you're coming back in two weeks and then you're leaving August 24' I said. He nodded. "I know, but I mean college in general, I don' even know what my major will be!" i giggled. "Neither did Josh and neither did Abby," he nodded.

I said goodbye to Jason and wished him luck with college incase I didn't see him before he "officially" left. He grinned ferosiously but I knew he'd be upset about leaving Sammy.
I also signed Sammy's cast (A real original message: Get well soon, Sam! Love Scarlet).
Sammy and I were chatting and laughing when this guy came up to Sammy whom I'd never seen before.
"Can I sign your cast?" he asked, looking rather pathetic. Sammy shook her head.
"No," she said frankly. He sulked away.
I turned to Sammy, surprised at her briefness.
"Whoa! What was that about? Who's he?" I asked, with a bit of a laugh.
Sammy smiled wryly. "He's my ex, Shane."
"What went down between you two? That was harsh!" I inquired.
"You don't even want to know..." she replied.
Jason laughed. "She refuses to forgive him!"
"Sounds bad!" I said.
Jason nodded. "Well, we've got to go! See ya!"
"Bye!" I called after them as they headed to the car.
I smiled. "It's great to know people who're so fun like that," I said quietly to myself and headed to the paddock.
