Jason and I ran quickly back to evergreen. Numby Jr. thought we were playing, and almost stepped on my feet as he tried to out run me. Camey and Noel had settled into their stall. "Camey, what was that all about? YOu endangered Noel by running away like that. I wouldnt have taken yall out there if the Black was dangerous. As long as youre with me, he'll accept you. Once he knows you, it doesnt matter who youre with. I wanted the Black to meet Noel. His mares alwasy seem to loose their foals in pregnancy, and i wanted him to get a chance to meet a little one." I huffed angrily. It was all silly, like Camey actaully knew what I sai saying. "ash, you you relize you are arguieng, and defending yourself to a..horse?" Jason started to laugh. I groaned, and we walked over to where Chrissy and Josh were riding. She was getting really good at jumping. I envied her. I love jumping, but its not my knack. My mind is filled with racing, and that will never change.The two kids trotted the horses over and Bond playfully nipped my shirt. "Why dont you guys cool the horses out now, really well. Its starting to get very cold out. Oh and Josh, you can stay for dinner if you want." He thanked me, and the horses, regretfully, allowed the kids to cool them out. Bond mine as well have been a wild mustang. He could stay utside in the below zero degree weather ,and roll in the snow. Nothing would faze him. "So whats fpr dinner?" i asked Jason. He coked an eyebrow. "Youre the woman. Besides you invited Josh over so there must be some plan." "yea the plan was, take a long shower so Jason would have to do everything." i laughed, pushing him onto the couch, running away. "HEY!" he yelled. We playfully fought for a little bit and then Jason got serious. "Ash, why do we have to wait?" He asked me I looked at him "wait for what my dear." "To get married, to ahve kids. Why not get married tomorrow? And have kids next week." "well," I explained "We cant get married tomorrow because we dont have clothes, and we cant have akid the next day because it takes 9 months." I winked Jason laughed and took my hand. "No seriously Ash. I dont wwant a long engagement. i want to be married to you. And I love Chrissy dearly, you know that, but I cant wait for us to ahve our own kid." jason said deeply. "Im glad I will be replaced." said Chrissy. Jason and I turned our heads and she had appearead at the door. "No Chris its not that." We ran after her. She wouldnt talk to us, and locked herself into her room all night. Josh's mom ahd called and he couldnt stay for dinner. "Ash Im sorry." Jason apologized. "Its ok. We have to be careful. Shes only 12, and doent understand everything. But yes I know how you feel. i want to get amrreid soon too. But lets sleep on this and talk to her in the morning." Jason and I turned the tv on. Right before I drifted t osleep, I went to check on Chrissy. She wasnt there. "JASON! Chrissy's gone! HURRY!" i screamed waking him u. The dogs had started barking like maniacs. Jason and I threw on coats over our bathrobes, sandals, and flew out the door.
