I trotted up and down the paddock with Patsy to keep busy while we waited to be let into the barn. "Noel, this is how you get human's attention" She added with a joyous buck. I whinnyed and followed her example. I had become steadier on my feet now a days and didn't nurse as much as i used to. I drank some water, and occasinally had bits and pieces of hay and oats.
Jason let me in i nosed him and he patted my neck. "Few more months girl" He kissed my neck. I lipped at his shirt collar with my tounge hangin out of the side of my mouth. "You're too goofy," he laughed brushing me off. I bobbed my head up and down and pranced from time to time. he laughed. "I haave to leave you now , Ash will get mad at me if i don't get home for dinner so bye." he scrated my nose once more and the barn door shut. I turned and walked back over to Patsy who licked my face. "I have never seen a man take to a mare quite like he has taken to you," Patsy nickered. "I love him" I whickered. She bobbed her head signaling how obvious it was. I layed down on my side, Nana taking that as her cue walked over. Instantly i began to nurse and soon i found that I was filled with warmth. I sat up and nosed Patsy. She turned to look at me. "Yes dear?" "I want to hear a story" i murmered tiredly. She laughed slightly and soon I was sleeping after listening to the story of The Phantom Horse once again...since it's my favorite story ever.
