"Ash let him be. Come on baby, we havent had any alone time in ages. I miss just me and you. I think Ive spent more time with Chrissy! And not that theres anything wrong with Chrissy..." I looked at Jason while he rambled on. Boy did I love him. I wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my head on his shoulder. Well, I couldnt quite reach his shoulder. "I love you." I whispered. "I love you- AH HEY!" I stumbled back alittle startled. The colt had bitten Jason's arm. He didnt break any skin though. "You devil." I half laughed kissing Numby Jr.'s nose. "You little rat. I just told Ash to let you play and not give you a lesson in behaving and this is what you do?" Jason grumbled. I clipped a lead shank to the colt's halter and led him out of the paddock. Ashes tried to scoot her way through but I gently pushed her back. She looked at me dejectdly and stood with her butt to the gate. "Jase hunny, will you go get a lead chain and come walk Ashes? Maybe the colt will act better if Ashes comes along." I pleaded Jason hesitaited. "I promise after this we can have the rest of the evening and night to ouselves." Jason laughed and ran to get lead chain. We walked around Evergreen and neither horse acted up. well, we never expected Ashes to anyway.Chrissy's dog ran in front of Numby jr's hooves and the colt leaped over it and then bucked a little. "Come on baby. that dog's never upset you before." i said trying to calm him down. Eventauly he settled back to a relxed walk. I think he realized a filly was showing him up because he was an angel the rest of the walk. "next time we will go on the trails. Maybe I should pony him on Ashes." Jason nodded his approvement. We brought all of the horses inside, fed and watered them. Then Jason and I went inside to ahve some alone time while Chrissy was at her friends house.
