Moving back to Evergreen

Bobby's blue truck came to a halt in front a familiar barn, and my breath was nearly taken away. One year old Ella cooed from the back seat. Now her features more familiar, she looked more and more like me as days wore on.
"Em, are you sure you're alright with this?" Bobby frowned unassured from the long drive.
"yes, Bobby, please quit worrying, they'll welcome us in, no questions asked." I paused and questioned the reality of my own words.
Evergreen was fairly desolate when the three, or should I say four, of us arrived. Jimmy stamped impatiently in the trailor, anxious from the three day drive to get out and stretch his legs. I hopped out and grabbed the stroller from the back of the truck while Bobby, held Ella. I unfolded the stroller, and the bouncing baby was eagerly entertaining herself with "Little Tyke" play people.
"Bobby, he's not the horse he was a year ago, you don't need to worry," I said as I began to unlock the trailor. "Okay...if you say so," were his final words of frustration.
Through the past year, a lot had happend. Nicander was convicted on all charges and sentenced to life in prison. The land that Bobby and his family had grown up on was bought by some superstore and in the words of Meg Ryan "would turn into something really depressing like a Baby Gap." So now, Bobby, Ella, Mother J, Jimmy, and myself had made our return to Evergreen. New hopes and dreams now forming for ourselves while old dreams and good memories remained with us in our hearts.
Jimmy backed carefully out of the trailor, no rushing, no rearing, just a calm quiet old horse. I smiled at him and we walked to an open pasture.
"Em, I don't know..." Bobby trailed off. His voice was hoarse from arguing with me over whether to come back here, and in the end had put faith in me. I smiled and took his hand and helped push the stroller. "Bobby, it's going to be fine. Scarlet said over the phone..." "Yes, that you were always welcome at Evergreen at anytime. Emily Jensen, she doesn't know about your family." "YOU, are apart of me, you worry too much," I smiled up at his strained, and tired face.
"Look, there is our new home!" I cried and pointed to the quaint little house. "Number 8, Bobby this is us!" I shouted out with excitement. "Emily, you need to relax," he laughed as he tooke Ella out of her stroller. I took my baby and ran inside.

Dear Emily,
Welcome back! Feel free to do with the house as you wish, it's your home. Hope you like it!"

"Oh Bobby, I'm so excited!" I said. Mother J and I had already begun to discuss new decorating ideas, and now it was really coming true. We had a home, we were a family. I sat down with Ella on the floor. "Ella, you're going to grow up such a happy little girl," I smiled. The dancing green eyes and mop of shiny black curls grinned back a very toothy grin. "Mom just arrived with the car, I'm going to go help her unload," Bobby looked at us with watery eyes. I knew he was sad about leaving his home...and his dream of building his own house. I was sorry that he never got the chance.
Later, when Jimmy was settled in the stall, that had our name tacked to it, and when Ella's baby crib was set up, once again, and Mother J was knitting in her bedroom. Bobby and I laid together in our quiet house.
"Bobby," i whispered timid of breaking the fragile silence. "Hmm?" he looked at me. "Bobby I'm sorry we had to leave, I'm sorry we didn't get to build your dream house." "Ohhh Em" he sighed, "I guess that it was for the best. I just wish I could have given you more. You're my angel." Bobby tapped my nose with his finger. I smiled, "I love you Bobby," "Me too." He replied. He reached over and clicked off the lamp on the night stand. I cuddled close, and in moments you could hear is deep rythmic breaths. I smiled, "thank you God, for giving this chance at life to me," I whispered. But as always there was little reply. A star or two twinkled out, and the moon was clouded over and that was the only thing that ever gave me a notion that somewhere, far away, someone was watching, and someone had always been listening.

Jessica saw a strange thing as she was coming to see SunStar, she knew thatit was SOMEBODY, but she did not think that someone would like to kiddnapp her horse, but as she was grooming her, she saw that the veicle cam closer and closer and closer, then when she saw that it was the slaughter truck, she immediatly ran to her house, not knowing how close he was to SunStar, and how close, she was to the house, and esspiaclly, how close she was to losing her beloved horse, she knew that at the time when she got to her house would be TOO late,
