I am truly sorry for what you are going through. Over the years I have seen families and livelihoods destroyed because Unions called strikes after making unfair demands of management. If your fathers company had not signed up with the union this would
not be happening. It is sad to think that a man who has worked 23 years for a company has to lose everything and start over. Do you now when their
contract expires? Maybe it is not to late to try
and rid of the union using a decertification
petition. Have they tried that?
