Just to let you know that some of the Master's films will get a re-release this June (the 9th to be precise). They are to be in the form of three double bills:

Ask a Policeman/Boys Will be Boys
Old Bones of the River/Where There's a Will
Convict 99/Oh Mr. Porter

Price is listed as £12.99 each DVD.

Great news for those of us who didn't get them all last time around!

Also announced for this July (7th) is a 5 DVD boxed set of Will Hay. No more details as yet. Anybody heard more?

Regarding the previous posting I forgot to add a fourth double bill. It will be Good Morning Boys & Hey Hey USA.

Will the Carlton re-releases be any different from the VCI Cinema Club DVDs. Digitally Remastered?? Restored?? Any commentaries from anyone.....trailers....

My information suggests that these are simply budget reissues, with no extras.

Still, better than nothing!

I can't find the 5 DVDs anywhere on play.com or through Canal+.

Does ANYONE have any info about these releases?!

If you look at Play.com web site they are doing these films at £9.99 each including delivery!!
