I'm trying to get a video/dvd of a Will Hay film - during the film Will Hay is in the dock (with a dog!)in court. He takes the oath and is told to kiss the book. He replies "The dog's eaten the book" so the judge says "Well kiss the dog".
I'd really love to see this film again but can't remember the title, can anyone help?

Not 100% sure but it could be The Ghost of St Michaels, if he is also at one point holding a pig then that's the one.

Thank you for this Ian, I'll see if I can get a copy. Someone else said it might be 'My Learned Friend'. It's actually my partner who roaored with laughter over the dog scene and he can't recall the title - typical! I'll try and get the Ghost of St Michael's, having failed to get My Learned Friend on eBay - outbid!
Thanks anyway for your interest.
Terri

Did you get copies of those films you were after? If not I may be able to help?
