Books on the Golden era of British comedy ?

I've recently taken an interest of the great comedy work coming out of British studios in the late 30's and early 40's . Will Hay , Tom Walls and The Crazy Gang made some of the funninest movies I've ever seen . Are there any books on this era with details on the making of these movies ?
