Here in Huddersfield we have had a Barnardos charity shop open up recently and having read an earlier message on the site that there were audio cds for sale in them i popped in.

I found 2 retail cds at £2.99 each which were a compilation of British comedy of the thirties and forties.Each has one track of Will Hay based on the Fourth Form at St Michaels.
Pity there is not a cd of just our Will out there.Or is there?

As yet there's no entire CD devoted to Will Hay but there may be one in the future.
Arthur Askey,Stanley Holloway,Max Miller and a couple of other people have got entire CD's.
At the moment Vintage Comedy Vol 1,2,4 & 8 feature Will Hay sketches.Vol 8 has a great cover with a picture of Will in his School Master character.

There was a Will Hay cd for sale recently on Ebay. Obviously it may be a pirate but it looks genuine to me, they don't tend to go for this much detail for these kind of pirates. Here's a link to the picture:

I too saw that on ebay.I was impressed with the artwork but I did think it was a pirate as well.

All the material on it can be downloaded from this site along with the excellent Will Hay radio programme and burned onto a CD.

Just to say I have bought this cd off e-bay and it is fine.
It is the same 6 sketches of Will and 2 scholars as is available on this site.
Only criticism is that it only lasts 24 minutes.I paid 6.99 plus 2.00 postage.A bit on the dear side but at least I have my copy for posterity
