Couple of things would make this night much more enjoyable, the presence of our Chiefs pals, a healthy T-Birds line up, and a great game by both teams. (Translation...A well earned Birds win )

You guys/gals were there live but it looked like a pretty ho hum game. Neither team inpressed me at all. Was I just seeing things at the ceremonial puck drop or did the milatary officer just drop the puck and boogey without shaking hands leaving the captains just starring at each other to which they didnt shake either and then boogied to? LOL
Empty net goal was bs....blatant trip on a t-bird. Sumner looked HEEEEEAAAATED.
But we took a ton of questionable penalties early on the birds could have capitolized on so I guess it all works out.
Hoping for a better game against you guys next time when your boys are feeling better...rejuvenated...and our guys maybe have some set lines to work with.
Anyways T-BIRDS...good luck tonight vs portland, I'll be rootin for ya!!!!!!

but it came down to who the refs decided to call a penalty on.. And on that note it was disappointing to see our captain get careless and draw a stupid hooking call late in the 3rd in a close game. Other than that, the Birds did a decent job of staying in this one.

The teams did look flat, which is especially not good for the Birds since the news of the night was about Seattle getting healthy again. Hopefully we see a good one in Portland tonight.

He just walked off leaving the poor captains looking baffled. LOL
And it was a ho-hum game. I will say that I figured your boys must have ticked off those refs at some point, cuz they sure watched them close... or maybe they were seeing things?! LOL Not that it helped us much.
I was amazed at how physically beat we looked. A couple of guys have really dropped some weight since the flu thing started. And you could see them just run out of energy by the third. I haven't seen your team enough to know what they were doing, but they did seem to get better as the game went on. I look forward to a rematch when we have more to bring to the table!
