There are what i think are a couple of plot holes in this movie. They don't really ruin the experience, but they seem to be major problems that really bother me.
1. Matt leaves a train ticket itenerary behind in the house of Richard Strout so that the trail would lead the cops to the train station. Matt mentioned that he made the tickets under an assumed name. It would seem very easy to track the fact that Richard never got on the train however. They could look at their passenger records and see that Richard (under the assumed name) never got on the train.
2. Also, When Matt planted the tickets in Richard's house, he should have made Richard touch them to put his fingerprints on them.
