I am 2 weeks post my 5 month treatment.
1. Dry lips, yup started pretty much immediately and all the way though. Since stopping though I am about 95% back to normal
2.Dry Skin, I got really dry and peely/flakey, I guess around month 2 but it was for about a week and then balanced out. The oil was gone as was the dryness.
3. I am just now losing a good amount of hair. Its actually not bothering me at all since I have a good thick head of hair and I know I wont go bald or anything so I am not really sweating it.
4.Muscle soreness, I felt really sore over the last couple months. Just achy all over, it wasnt painful, just annoying. When the Dr lowered my dose near the end, it got progressively better and is now gone. I did experience one wierd thing with my ribs. I got severe pain at one point, could hardly breath or move. I went to the Dr and had x-rays, I had some sweeling in my rib cage, was treated and it was fine and never happened again. Its not listed as a side effect but when I told someone else who had done accutane years ago she had the EXACT same thing. Who knows??
5.Bloody nose, nope.
6.Dry eyes, not at all.
7.Once I got really depressed for about 2 weeks, but that was during the really bad 'initial' breakout period, I wouldnt leave the house. Once that got a bit better I was fine.
8.Major Breakout, oh ya, I had this all right, worst part of the treatment.
I am completely clear now, so it was all worth it 100%
