I started on roaccutane 3 years ago , for 2 months. (40mg a day) my skin flared up initially (which is perfectly normal) I then left the uk for a week and went to Miami on holiday. As soon as i went out in the sun i came up in small white pimples on my face and body, after a few days they dissapeared.
I have been acne free for two and a half years now
People have to realise it takes time for your body to adjust to these drugs, and pimples, whiteheads and flare ups are all part of that process.
Going on roaccutane is tough, and yes im sure a few people have committed suicide on it, But having very bad acne can make you suicidal too!...We will never know how many lives Accutane has saved!!?? It certainly made my life worth living again after years of dispair... SO HANG ON IN THERE FOLKS....Jonathan
