my 15 year old son has been on 40mg a day for 8 months now. Went to derm last week and he said he's never seen such a resisitance to the drug as in my son. My sons face is now clear it took about 7 months to clear. The derm has put him on another 2 months so in total when he finishes he will have had 10 months of the drug. I think a lot may have to do with the dosage. My son was on a low dosage, maybe because he is young, but the benefits have been that apart from dry lips and the occasional nose bleed he has had no other side effects. He has been very sun sensitive and as we are in the australian summer at the moment he has to just keep putting on the sunscreen.
